Baby Drew and I were hanging out this afternoon when we heard a knock at the door. I opened the door to see the friendly UPS man leaving this package on the porch. My new pans!
My current pans are probably a health hazard. We got them for our wedding 4 1/2 years ago and the non-stick coating is starting to chip and scratch. Probably not the safest thing ever.
So I clipped some 20% off coupons and headed to Bed Bath & Beyond where the friendliest sales associate, Eddie, educated me in the exciting features of stainless steel cookware. (Did you know that pans have "cores"? Me neither.) After agonizing over the decision, I decided on the two I wanted. Much to my chagrin, they weren't in stock. But don't worry, the ever-helpful Eddie ordered them online for me (and waived the shipping fee!). And today they arrived!

Here are the old pans in the garbage. Goodbye, Old Pans. You've served me well, but it's time to move on. New Pans, I think we're going to be friends.
